Pullan Barnes - Yasmin Bari

I started at Pullan Barnes on a voluntary basis to gain some work experience to complete my AAT which I was studying independently whilst working in a pub.

After three months I was approached by the then two partners and offered fulltime employment. On completion of my AAT I was encouraged to take my studies a step further and to undertake the ACA qualification. I completed my studies within my three year training contract and was offered the chance of becoming a partner on completion of my two years post qualification experience and I have never looked back!

My role within the firm is hard to define as being a general practitioner I seem to be able to turn my hand to most situations although I am fairly adept at Sage both training and interpretation of accounts or anything computer based.

Away from the office I am a keen ten pin bowler. I bowl in three leagues at Washington Bowl and also for the Durham County Ladies team. My football loyalties lie with Tottenham Hotspur which leads to interesting discussions in the office when we play Sunderland!
